High Ambient Temperatures – Our products are designed to operate in an ambient temperature of 50C (122F) not 40C like most other drives

High Impact (Shock) Loads – Our unique DC Bus Follower Circuitry allows us to handle sudden load changes and intermittent regeneration without ‘fault trip”. No drive oversizing is required, and energy wasting bus load resistors are eliminated.

AC Line Harmonics / Poor Power Quality – Most AC Drives introduce undesirable harmonic currents into the AC power system. Our clean power AC drive operates with minimal harmonics – well within the stringent limits of IEEE 519.

Regenerative loads – our Line Regen modules work with any manufacturers PWM AC Drive. Absolutely no setups required and there are only five wires to connect. We also offer a full line of Regenerative AC Drives.

PHOENIX DX SENSORLESS AC VECTOR DRIVE

The Phoenix DX was designed with one goal in mind:  To create the most reliable and rugged Digital AC Drive on the market today.  All the features required to operate in the most demanding industrial applications are included, yet it is simple to use.

It is a high performance, industry hardened drive with adjustable frequency AC motor control.  The Phoenix DX takes the fixed AC line voltage and frequency and produces a variable voltage and frequency which is then sent to the AC motor.  Conventional constant speed, squirrel cage induction or synchronous AC motors can be used with the Phoenix DX to produce and adjustable speed AC drive.

Available in many horsepower and voltage configurations, the Phoenix DX is designed to handle a multitude of industrial applications.
