Acme Electric is a full line manufacturer of low voltage (600 V and below) dry type distribution transformers using both copper and aluminum conductor, offering an array of products between 0.50-1000 KVA.

Acme's product offering covers the full spectrum of applications, from commercial general power distribution and high harmonic conditions to specific industrial motor drive/factory automation systems, to low voltage landscape lighting applications. All Acme products are designed, constructed and rated to meet or exceed the standards established by UL, CSA, CE, NEMA, ANSI and IEEE.

Acme Power Distribution Products Division manufactures a full line of transformers to meet your power distribution and control applications. Following is a brief description of the major product groups contained in Acme Transformer products catalog 

1)      Dry type distribution transformers

• Single and three phase, .05kVA thru 1000kVA
• Encapsulated and ventilated (air cooled) designs
• Units for harsh environments
• Many primary and secondary voltage combinations
• Copper wound core and coil designs available
• U.L. listed and CSA certified for indoor or outdoor use

2)      OPTI-Miser(R) low temperature rise transformers

• Single and three phase, 30 thru 500 kVA, 60Hz
• 80 deg. C and 115 deg. C temperature rise - 220 deg. C insulation system
• Higher efficiency at full rated load

3)      Drive isolation transformers (DIT)

• Three phase, 15 thru 600 kVA, K-factors of 4, 13 and 20
• Temperature rise includes 150 deg. C, 115 deg. C and 80 deg. C models
• Special design with double size neutral for high harmonic content
• I-TRAP(TM) neutral current reducer for 208Y/120V 60Hz systems

4)      Industrial control (machine tool) transformers

• Designed to safely reduce supply voltages
• 50 VA thru 5000 VA sizes, 50 or 60Hz
• Fully encapsulated designs to 500 VA
• Primary and secondary fuse kits available, factory installed to 1000 VA

5)      Buck Boost transformers

• A simple, economical means to correct off standard voltages from 95 to 500 VA
• Single and three phase models; to 10 kVA frame size

6)      PANEL-TRAN(R) zone power centers

• A transformer and power distribution panel all contained in one convenient unit
• Single and three phase, 480 and 600 V primaries
• Encapsulated and shielded isolation transformer, primary and secondary main circuit breakers, distribution panel, all housed in a UL outdoor enclosure

7)      Air conditioning, refrigeration and appliance transformers

• Designed to change a wide range of voltages to standard motor voltages for appliances, AC units, refrigeration equipment and other applications demanding safe and efficient 50 or 60Hz operation.
• Units are equipped with six foot primary cord and input receptacle.

8)      Low Voltage Lighting Transformers

• The perfect choice for converting 120V to 12V or 24V for low voltage landscape, pool & spa or interior lighting applications
• Full range of models with many features and options including electric timer and photocell for complete lighting control applications.
